How ChatGPT Image 2.5 handles account, payment and image-generation data
This policy explains how the operator of the Image 2.5 service at image2-5.net (the “Service”) handles information when you browse the site, create an account, purchase credits or generate images. For privacy questions or requests, email support@image2-5.net or use our contact page.
Information we handle
- Account and support information: your name, email address, authentication details or linked sign-in provider, and information you send through support forms. Passwords are handled through our authentication system; we do not ask for them in support messages.
- Purchases and credits: your selected plan or credit pack, Stripe customer and transaction identifiers, payment status, renewal and refund events, credit grants and credit use. Stripe hosts Checkout and processes payment-card details; we do not store your complete card number or security code.
- Creative content: your prompts, chosen model and settings, reference images submitted for processing, and generated images. We keep generation records and store generated files so you can access them. Reference images are sent to the model provider as part of your request.
- Technical and analytics data: information needed to operate and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device details, request logs and session cookies. When production analytics are configured, we also receive information about visits, page use and technical issues.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and secure accounts, process payments and refunds, issue and deduct credits, send generation requests to the model provider, deliver generated files, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and maintain the Service. We do not automatically subscribe a new account to marketing emails. Any optional marketing communications should be requested separately and can be unsubscribed from.
Service providers and international processing
We use Stripe for Checkout and billing, Cloudflare for hosting, database and file storage, and OpenRouter and the selected model provider to process image-generation requests. When configured in production, Google Analytics, Umami, Plausible and Microsoft Clarity help us understand site use and technical issues. If you choose Google sign-in, Google also handles that sign-in. Email and support providers may process messages when those features are used. These providers receive information needed for their roles and may process it in countries or regions other than yours. Their own privacy terms may also apply.
Image visibility
The image generator offers a Public Visibility control. When you choose public visibility, anyone with a generated image’s link may be able to view it. Private generated files require authorized access. Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts or reference images unless you are comfortable sending it to the model provider for processing.
Cookies and security
We use cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in and remember necessary preferences. Stripe or other providers may use their own cookies for payment and fraud prevention. See our Cookie Policy for more information. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Retention and your choices
We keep information while needed to operate your account, provide purchased credits, resolve disputes, protect the Service and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Different records may have different retention periods. You can manage account information and files in your account settings, or contact us to request access, correction or deletion. We will respond according to applicable law; some payment and security records may need to be retained after account deletion. Deleting your account or files does not automatically reverse a completed purchase.
